Interview, hire, train and fire staff as needed to meet requirements.
Report position vacancies to owner.
o Training staff initially and retraining as needed, document satisfactory and unsatisfactory job performance Preventative maintenance and cleaning tasks related to Office appearance, equipment and products Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure units vacant for > 48 hours are physically checked prior to check-in Coordinate daily service, maintenance, deliveries, reservations, inspections, cleaning and staff schedule o Ensure proper opening, closing and delivery of services, work closely with Housekeeping manager o Schedule and supervise staff to ensure services to standard o Prepare, post and make available monthly (Sep-Apr) or bi-weekly (May-Aug) staff schedule o Report work orders to Maintenance or advise owner before arranging outside vendor for repair Marketing and upselling o Trip Advisor, AirBnB, VRBO, website, social media and targeted marketing campaigns o Train and educate staff to inform customers of other Acorns Resort amenities/events Make sound business decisions and maintain accurate records o Maintain accurate inventory records at all times for retail products o Ensure proper cash/credit procedures are followed and utilize POS o Report misuse of and/or stolen equipment, food, alcohol/beverage to owner within 1 hour o Adhere to all applicable regulations and laws Ensure consistency of reliable, high standard of guest experience (Office is the face of the resort) o Cleaning and proper display of reception and retail items o Stock Acorns logo items and recurring retail purchases Efficiently perform Bookkeeping and reservation software duties o Reservation Nexus technical maintenance and updates as needed o Process payroll in accordance with resort timelines and forward to resort accountant o Coordinate with all departments to account for personnel actions affecting payroll o Assemble information for external accounting as needed o Maintain an orderly accounting filing system o Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements Accurately and timely delivery of new employee orientation bi-weekly or as needed o Ensure required documentation for employee personnel file is complete o Provide and explain resort policies, communication methods (FB/email) and resort overview Maintain and ensure adequate supply of all recurring supply needs; collaborate other orders with owner as needed Take after-hours phone calls and manage after hours customer issues as needed Customer Service:

This is a full-time salaried position on a year-round basis.
Evenings, weekends and holiday availability are required.
Work hour will be approximately 50+/week during April through September and 40+/week during October through March.
